Truck repair calls often fail to become jobs because the inquiry is outside your area, the equipment or repair is unsupported, nobody answers, or the shop cannot accept the work. Check those reasons before increasing traffic. The steps below separate marketing fit from the way the shop handles a call.
A caller outside your area is different from a relevant customer who could not reach someone. A parts-only inquiry is different from a job the shop could not schedule. Group outcomes by reason so one marketing change is not asked to solve every problem.
State equipment, repair capabilities, location or coverage, and available contact hours. Explain what information the caller should have ready. A mobile service page needs a different next step from a shop-based diagnostic page.
Record the source when known, requested service, general location, fit, and next step. A short agreed classification is often more useful than a long note nobody reviews. Compare campaign changes with those outcomes over a stated period.
Review a manageable sample of recent inquiries with the person answering the phone. Identify one avoidable mismatch and one point where relevant customers lose contact. Fix those before assuming another campaign will solve the gap.
